Hi, you guys my name is Jerrod Reboredo. I am a student at UC Santa Cruz studying Global Economics. I love animals and have two pet hamsters at home who inspire me to care about other animals as much as I do for them.

Blog Response where I talked about the most interesting topics from the week. Peter Singer and his discussion about the ethics of killing animals helped me show more care for sentient creatures like lobsters.
The annotation assignment helped me learn how to research academics and researchers. This assignment helped me prepare myself to introduce the researchers in my writings.
This assignment got me thinking about the topics that I was interested in. I ended up deciding on lobsters because of the research that I previously knew about these creatures.

This assignment was from the LR / AP. This advice was for me to explain more on my philosophical questions. This was the best advice because this section of writing needed improvement and clarity which was offered.

This assignment was about website curation. Tony's advice really helped me determine how I should organize or rather not organize my website.

this assignment is from the review of the review of the LR and AP. I believe that this is my best advice because I offered to clarify questions to make the writing more specific to the problems that they writer was talking about.

the value of peer review is to be able to have other people check your work and give you advice for improvements. this is important because it brings in not only one's thoughts but many people to make sure that those thoughts make sense. I have learned how useful peer reviews are from taking this class because its advice that can better your work. I have also managed to spend a lot of time on my peer reviews to ensure that the people that I review get fixed what they need to. I feel like doing the peer reviews this quarter has allowed me to see the flaws in my own writing. This assignment was from the week 5 blog update. I gave advice that I thought the website was boring because it lacked color. Upon looking at this comment now, I think I didn't take into account the different preferences that people have when creating a website.
